Jagmohan Garg noted that the Delhi police grabbed a truck loaded with camel meat from Delhi’s Vasant Kunj range, reports asserted. As per the report, in the wake of getting data about the truck from activists of two associations, the Police followed the truck and captured its driver on Tuesday night.
Allegedly, the truck was at first transporting 15 live camels from the Nagaur Mela in Rajasthan to Tauru. In Tauru, these camels were allegedly butchered in a remote zone. Taking after that, the meat of the camel was stacked into the truck and was conveyed to New Delhi to be later sold to remote nations.
Individuals from the two associations, People for Animals and Gau Gyan Foundation educated the police with respect to the truck which was Delhi-bound, after which the police grabbed the truck and captured its driver. Supposedly, a FIR has been held up in the Vasant Kunj (South) police headquarters.
As indicated by an individual from People for Animals, the truck was reserved in a comparable case a month ago in Tauru police headquarters also. The vehicle with the Haryana number plate was, according to sources cited by India Today, taking the relegation to a frosty storeroom at Lawrence Road to be sold to remote nations later.
